The Institute for Community-Based Research recently wrapped up its spring 2012 workshop series at the Coahoma County Higher Education Center in Clarksdale, MS. With support from the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi and in partnership with the Delta State University Center for Community and Economic Development, this workshop series aims to provide training to community partners on the use of research to inform health and development initiatives.
The following events have been held so far in 2012.
A roundtable meeting was held on February 6, 2012 with Dr. Don Vereen from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Participants were involved in a discussion with Dr. Vereen covering topics related to research, evaluation, and program development.
