John Green Visits Guam for Strategic Planning Meeting with the Pacific Island Network of Nursing Education Directors

Center for Population Studies Director and Institute Coordinator John Green traveled June 8-15, 2012 for a series of strategic planning meetings with the Pacific Island Network of Nursing Education Directors (PINNED). The meetings were hosted at the University of Guam by the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. Additionally, the PINNED group delivered a presentation at the Pacific Island Health Officers Association (PIHOA) conference in Guam.

John’s involvement in this effort was part of a joint project between the Dreyfus Health Foundation and nursing programs from across the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands. The work is being done with partial support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Northwest Health Foundation through their Partners Investing in Nursing (PIN) initiative.
